Yes, I decided to scrap pictures of Kate with the swine flu but only because she was so happy the majority of the time! I used A+ Designs' Java Beans and Blue Jeans available at Enchanted Studio Scraps.

Here's my first Halloween Layout of the year using Best Witches by Hutchie available at Scrappity Doo Dah.

And I got Layout of the Day at Gotta Pixel with this Sweetberry Farms layout! I used Through the Patch by Sweet Digi Scraps available at Gotta Pixel and the template is from 3's No Crowd by AmyM Designs. All of her personal use templates are $1 right now at Scrappity Doo Dah!

I just started CT'ing for Liz at Sweet Digi Scraps. I loved working with her at Been There Scrapped That. Her kits just totally fit my style of scrapping. I did the desktop challenge at Gotta Pixel with her soon to be released kit, "Towel Dried". It's a bath kit but I didn't have any bath pictures I wanted to scrap so instead I did muddy pics! These are some of my favorite pictures. Kate and Noah got into a sprinkler at a park back in May and had a TOTAL blast. It was so fun to watch them play with total abandon. Anyways, here it is!

I also finally got a Christmas layout done from last year. I just skipped right over Christmas and have had a block and just haven't wanted to do it. I used two templates by Amy M Designs and an old kit called Cherry Christmas Pop by Kari Q.

I played around with the Coffee Shop Action for brightening eyes tonight and then made this layout with the picture that resulted. I love how much more her beautiful blue eyes stand out! They are so blue in real life but the camera never quite captures them. This helped so much! I made this layout with Summer Breeze by A+ Designs.

The creative bug bit me again over the last couple of days. Here's what I've been up to!

Last night, A+ did a really fun speedscrap. At the beginning, I thought I was going to hate my layout but suddenly it transformed and I actually like it now! I used Chris Greiser's Springish Notions.

I also did this friendship layout yesterday using A+ Designs' soon to be released kit, Fresh Country. These are Kate's playgroup friends, one she's known since they were newborns and the other two since they were 1 and they are all so close(as are their moms and I). I love this shot of them at the zoo.

I used Sarah Ellis' Hey Fishy Fishy for these layouts of Kate feeding the fish off the dock where my dad's boat is kept.

The last couple of days, I've been busy. I am working in collaboration with my friends, Jenn and Aimee to make a baby book for our friend, Koran who is due in June. Here are a couple of pages from it. Ba-Ba is Cantonese for daddy in case you're wondering! Kit is Love, Me by Wendy Page at Enchanted Studio Scraps and Mommy's story template by JenJen and Ba-Ba's story by Colie Shepherd.

For Tova's(big sister) story, I used a layout I know Koran loves from Kate's book and turned it into a page for her book(the beauty of digiscrapping!) Kit is Butterfly Shimmer by Web Designz by Kristi.

For the hospital layout, I used Naturally Beautiful by A+ Designs, template by Just 2 More Things and black paper by Mandy Mystiques.

I had fun playing with this kit by Colie called Snow Wonder. The pinks and browns were soo perfect for these pics matching Kate's coat(which the zipper broke on the next day and completely broke my heart!!!) so I had to use it even though the pics weren't snowy.

Okay, my friend took this totally cute shot of us in front of a big Christmas tree but there were people everywhere and there was no way to get a clean shot. This guy was walking by and looks like he's part of the family or something! So I reworked things and now have a great picture! I am so excited. I just love photoshop!

This is a charity kit available on Plain Digital Wrapper's website and the story of Megan and Baby Crew. It's a gorgeous kit and I've already seen some wonderful layouts with it plus it's for a great cause!

We all go through rough patches in our lives. And as we go through these hardships, we lean on each other and our faith to comfort us. Tragedy has recently befallen one of our own. Megan, the master behind the templates of Racketty Scrappety was, until recently pregnant with her third and fourth children. Nearly three weeks ago, 28 weeks pregnant, her water broke and had an emergency c-section to deliver her babies. Both of which were born without heartbeats. While the doctors were able to resuscitate one of her sons, the other, Baby Dex, didn't make it.

There were a number of complications, none of which caused any of the others. As Megan learned after the fact, her water breaking was the best thing that could have happened and was what allowed Baby Crew to be born fast enough to save his life. Megan has been generous enough to allow us all to share this time with her. You can read more about this amazing Mother and Son duo at http://crewsjourney.blogspot.com

Crew, is currently in the NICU and riding the "roller coaster" that accompanies this. We, here at Plain Digital Wrapper along with a few other great designers have joined together to make this beautiful kit dedicated to Crew.

Included in this kit are over 50 papers, over 150 elements, 5 alphas, $10 worth gift certificates from various designers, over 50 of the templates from Racketty Scrappety herself, and a free gift with purchase! All proceeds will go towards Crew's mounting medical costs. It is called "For Unto Us..." and embodies the true spirit of Christmas.

I've been so busy scrapping, I haven't taken the time to post here! I'm doing a guest CT spot at Plain Digital Wrapper as well as my ongoing ones at Get Digi With It and Been There Scrapped That. Here's what I've been up to lately!

I've done lots of layouts with Sweet Digi Scraps. Liz just seems to make kits just for me. I absolutely love everything she puts out!

This is her kit Too Cute to Spook that she just let me work with even though it's not at Been There Scrapped That(thanks, Liz!)

I also did this pumpkin layout with Sweet Digi Scraps At First Sight. The flowers and brads are from Playdate by Sweet Digi Scraps.

For my guest spot for Plain Digital Wrapper, I worked with With the Band by Athena. This was totally different from what I normally would work with but I knew it would be perfect for the pics of Kate with the guitar my husband's dad made for him which eventually get passed on to her. The pink paper is from Butterfly Shimmer by Web Designz by Kristi.

I did this cover for a bragbook using Scrapshana's Bragbook template pack 1 and Laffy Taffy from Been There Scrapped That! The handstamped alpha from Little Dreamer Designs

Last but not least, I did a template challeng at pickleberry pop and came up with this layout using Mandy Mystique's Frostee. I love this kit so much I had to think of something to do with it since we don't get snow here!

Okay, I totally have to show this off because I am sooo excited how it turned out! I made Kate a Halloween Treat bag. I wanted to make her one so she could keep it through the years and have something made with love by me. My friend, Michelle(love you!) ran the black fabric on her embroidery machine to get the awesome Kate on it. Then I sewed the bag, including the handles which I'm quite proud of! lol

I am so excited to be on the CT at Been There Scrapped That! This month I was asked to do a layout for Scraps by Jenn. I love this kit because it can work for a boy or a girl so I used it for this cute picture of Kate in a firefighter outfit. Here's the kit, ! so definitely go check it out!

Every Little Thing She Does is Magic

Last night while Kate was taking a bath, she kept catching bubbles. It was amazing how well they stayed in her hand. She was laughing and having the best time. She IS the essence of magic to me. It just amazes me to watch this little girl sprouting from the tiny baby she used to be. She melts my heart several times a day and just leaves me in wonder at God's amazing power and grace! I am so thankful for my little piece of Heaven! Kit used was Berry-licious by Heather Manning at getdigiwithit.com.

Here's my baby girl Kate(the smaller one), playing dressup with her friend. They are almost 2 years apart in age but it's pretty apparent, they have a blast together. I used CK Sassy Font, Freebie Kit by Shazbutts Digi-Scraps, Little Boy Blue. It's also great for girls! ;-)

Starting Out Digital Scrapping

I am a paper scrapper to the core but there is so much cool, free stuff in the digital world that I just want to jump in and give it a try. I'm a 37 y/o mom to one little girl, Kate and also do stained glass periodically. It's a little harder, it's messy and it's hot outside(I do it in the garage), so my creative side has to come out more in my scrapping.
